Game In The Class.

Here are the words i got when i chose three combination numbers.

Duck and Wood
Dog and Root
Fly and Tree

So i make the sentences.

The duck hides under the wood.

The dog rests on the roots.

The fly goes around the tree.

But these pictures contain two objects each. How do i merge the words or objects to become as one?

Duck made of wood. WoodDuck.

Its hand is root. RootDog.

The tree fly. FlyTree.

See how things are compared and merged as one? Funny, but it gets attention. People just love weird things, are they?

When Poem Rhymes.

Hot Chili Love

Your favourite colour is red,
And your touch it makes me mad

Love,
Sometimes you're too hot to handle,
But i bare just to taste the sizzle

Oh baby,
You are sensational and super hot,
It makes me wanna row your boat

Oh dear,
Just like the petite sizzling red chili,
That is why I love you like the chili.

Jux What?

Juxtaposition!
What does that mean?
Placing compositional elements side-by-side. Either to compare or contrast them.
Usually to create new idea or draw attention from people.

Here come the MORTAR & PESTLE.
It is used ages ago, and still is in some places. Now blender has take over their place.

In the future, what do i think the use mortar and pestle?

Tadaa~

People can use mortar and pestle as tombstone. They are heavy and durable just like the tombstone! Is not it the new thing? Brilliant.

The shamans can use them to mix their potion! Spiders, leaves and more leaves and chant and POOF! A potion.

Mortar and pestle can the new tools for painting! Mortar as the palette and pestle to substitute brushes.

Here, the juxtaposition is used to create an idea of how one thing can is compared to another on it's use. It might sound absurd. But, in future we do not know how irrelevant one's idea is!

It Goes On and On!

What goes on? Mind-map! It can goes on and on. There is no right or wrong mind-map.

What with mind-map? It eases life! Like? It gives the whole or rough idea of something without the hassle of reading the hideous pages of words of story.

Tony Buzan claimed that he invented the modern mind-mapping after he is inspired by Alfred Korzybski's general semantic.

Tony Buzan!

So here what mind-mapping is all about.
Mind-mapping!

And here is the mind-mapping about my classmate in the class!
Andy, it's you!
From this mind-map, i don't have to make any sentences to write his biography. Even it looks more pleasant than the paragraph of oh-i-don't-bother-to-read. So in a glance we can see what is up with Andy. :) Ain't it simple?

Familiar Much?

Any idea who he is? Bill Gates!

Here is some of his biography.
Name: William Henry Bill Gates III
Detail of Birth: 28 October 1955 in Seattle, Washington

What is so special about him? Well, of course we know he is filthy rich. He held various positions in the Microsoft e.g CEO and chief software architect and own a Foundation. Very successful, indeed.

Do you notice he is haunting almost everyone's life? Almost all of us using the personal computer that contain OS invented by him, Windows. Is not that interesting?

How does he manage to get hold to what he had achieved?  Well, he showed interest in the industry since he entered Lakeside School where he met Paul Allen, his partner in Microsoft.

Mothers Club at his school bought ASR-33 teletype terminal and a block of computer time. Since then, Gates has been spending time on computer. He loves computer so much until he breached the system with three other students to get more time on computer.

Computer Center Corporation found out and banned them from using computer. Then CCC offered them to find bug in the system. Instead of using teletype, Gates went to the office to study the source code. Very clever, is not he? At age of 17, Gates with Allen make traffic counter called Traf-O-Data.

In 1973, Gates graduated and went to Harvard University. He did not really have a proper study plan. He spent most of his time on computer.

Later, he joined Allen at Honeywell and dropped from Harvard.

His enthusiasm has brought him to success. His creativity has brought him to novelty. The way of his thinking in the business also get him to more profitable way. He did not let other people to get the copyright of whatever he invented.

How about them? They are the Google guy! Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
Lawrence Page was born on 26 March 1973 in Michigan, USA, while Sergey Brin was born in 1973 in Moscow.

So what now, right? Do you know how is life before Google search engine in created? It is madness! People often get junk from the search engine.

How they invented the search engine?
Well, they actually had to do a project during their Ph.Ds in Computer Science in Stanford University. So, they thought of improving the search engine available. End up, they call the project as The Anatomy of a Large-Scale Hyper-textual Web Search Engine.

Their mission is to manage the web efficiently and provide relevant results. Therefore, they created a series of code to rate any pages of their importance. A very complicated system that is called PageRank to run the assessment.

At first, they were not allowed to publicly advertise. Soon, they left Stanford and start Google Inc. in 1998. The search engine became profitable in 2000. Then, Google Inc. became public company in August 2004.

Larry became the president of product and Sergey became the president of technology. However, Larry handed over CEO position to Dr. Erik Schmidth.

Though, both of them never thought of become so successful, but they had the idea to ease the life of people. Their invention has saved lots and lots of people time in searching relevant information over the net.
Thank you Larry and Sergey! :)

Let's Define.

Salam and greetings,

The words in our first lesson.
Novelty
Creativity
Innovation
Invention

Let's just get the meanings of those words in the dictionary before i go any further.

Novelty: from the word novel; striking, original, unusual.
Creativity: whereby something new is created which has some kind of value.
Innovation: initiation, renew.
Invention: the creation of something in mind.
_________________________________________

So these four words are inter-related to each other.
It happens when a new way of doing something have been invented and has been accepted by the society, probably it has been rejected when it first proposed to the society.

Example, the modern medication. Last time people believe in shaman. They believe in the spirits and were very afraid to seek the modern practitioners. Eventually the society accept the modernisation.

Besides, these four words are very subjective. Different society, different interpretation. Therefore, some things are called creative or innovative in some areas but in other areas it is not.
_________________________________________

People have been taught all in their life just to make things easier and faster. Education has been applied to society until they probably having the same answer to solve a problem, it is like we have been programmed like robot or computer. It is a the tradition of doing something that has been familiar or routine to their culture.

For instance, kids could not drinks alcohol. However the adult could. It would not look so wrong if they did. It has been a negative thought if the minor does such thing. How about the major? Would not it effect them the same?

What i wanted to emphasise here is-
"People believe what they want to believe". :)
